چکیده

Objective: Brain tumor development mechanisms are still the subject of current research, and treatment models improving. Our study aimed to investigate association cytokines with intracranial types grades their usability in diagnosis follow-up. Material Methods: This included 48 individuals (24 brain tumors 24 control groups). The blood samples were taken from groups, biochemical analysis was performed. groups then compared for statistical significance. Results: In our study, aim relationship between enzyme levels various pathologies grades. We found a significant TNF-α, Caspase-3, BChE enzymes, but this not observed BDNF AChE. Conclusion: measured secreted gliomas other carried out determine whether these measurements cause changes staging disease, use as diagnosis, length stay. would shed light on more comprehensive studies tumors.

A line of evidence shows that the immune system plays important roles in the pathogenesis of the disease. Two main cytokines directing the immune system are IL-6 and TNF-α which may play a role in the immunopathogenesis of this disease. The present study aimed at investigating the serum lev...

Clinical Significance of Serum TNF-a and IL-6 Levels in Patients with Metabolic Syndrome

Background: Several components of metabolic syndrome (MetS) facilitate its diagnosis, including abdominal obesity, hyperlipidemia, high blood pressure, and insulin resistance. The production of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) seem to be associated with MetS components. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between  the serum levels...

Status of serum alpha feto-protein (AFP) and midkine (MDK) levels in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

Introduction: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is sixth common cancers worldwide and predominant in Asia and Africa. A number of evidence suggests a possible role of midkine (MDK) and α-fetoprotein (AFP) in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Materials and methods: We studied MDK and AFP in patients with HCC or in healthy controls. MDK and AFP was measured by enzyme linked immuno...

Effect of ascorbic acid and alpha-tocopherol supplementations on serum leptin, tumor necrosis factor alpha, and serum amyloid A levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Objective: Diabetes mellitus Type 2 is one of the most widespread chronic metabolic diseases. In most cases, this type of diabetes is associated with alterations in levels of some inflammatory cytokines and hormones. Considering anti-inflammatory properties of plant extracts rich in ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), anti-diabetic properties of these two well-known anti...
